Qatar Airways A350 Business Class video by Homer 3152
I love Homer 3152. I hope to one day meet him. I am suspecting he works for a hardware company relating to aviation.
Anyway thanks to him, now I know that the wing tips of the A350 is curved. And baggage bins in business class have light strips. Also, economy class food looks amazing and they serve unlimited champagne.
QR definitely is setting the bar high in aviation products and experience. It is now in my target to fly QR A350 and 787. And it is also my intention to meet His Excellency Mr Al Baker.
God willing

Airline News: Airbus' 2012 Success
Gawd. So many things have been happening that I feel like my blog got grounded for a while. Sigh.
Anyway, I found this charming.
Just when Boeing's Dreamliner is making headline news, and its shares have taken a nose dive, Airbus released this video on 17 Jan 2013, hip hooraying their 2012 glories.
Nothing wrong with that, but as we all know, they are bitter rivals and the cynic may think, MMMM well timed to drive the knife home and let shareholders know who is better?
Just a thought.

Airline News: United Flies the Dreamliner to Asia
The 787 is a big deal in aviation history, and for Boeing, it is making up for lost ground. Boeing announced yesterday that it delivered 601 planes in 2012, putting it on track to beat its rival Airbus.
Naturally, Asian carriers have been quick to fly the new Dreamliner. And now United will be the first North American carrier to do so starting this week to (where else?) Asia.
Tokyo to be exact. From LAX.
The schedule:
LAX 1115 NRT 1410 +
I will be looking forward to trip reports from other frequent fliers. I have sworn off American carriers at all costs because of their software. It doesn't matter if the seat is the latest Sogerma or Sicma. If the inflight service is even lesser than in an iHOP restaurant on the ground, something is seriously wrong.
