Don't get into Singapore or even in some parts of Europe around the same time as a flight from China. The scrutiny by immigrations and customs get more intense. Not pleasant. I learned on a few occasions the anecdotes may be true.
So it is quite funny to find out that Changi Airport in Singapore is having some Chinese New Year shopping promotion that is only made available to China passports.
